Crockett County Museum is seeking a part-time Museum Attendant beginning October 2, 2023. The position is for a 10-to-15-hour work week. Flexibility in the work schedule will be imperative.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for and ability to serve museum visitors and staff. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

- $15.00 hourly rate
- Hours vary from 10 to 15 hours per week.
- Part-time, no benefits
- Reports to Administrative Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests, ensure they all sign in, collect fees, and process sales through Point of Sale (POS) system
- Promote Museum memberships, tours, and events
- Administer janitorial duties – dust, sweep, mop, take out trash, clean bathroom, etc.
- Conduct tours when required
- Perform clerical duties as assigned by Administrative Coordinator
- Assist in setting up exhibits
- Receive and process deliveries
- Execute security procedures
- Utilize Microsoft Office software and operate office equipment
- Maintain landscape when requested
- Assist in events hosted at the Museum or chosen venue
Personal and Professional Requirements
Employees of Crockett County Museum are expected to follow all Museum policies and guidelines. Successful applicants will:

- Maintain a professional demeanor. Treat others with courtesy and respect.
- Follow instructions and consistently follow through on tasks.
- Follow visitor protocols.
- Communicate information clearly, carefully, and accurately in all in-person, telephone, and electronic communication.
- Maintain clear knowledge of all emergency procedures.
- Know the mission of the Museum and its history.
- Be dependable, attentive, and accommodating while always adhering to Museum policy.
- Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
